Nitromootorile odavam kütus

I started of a spark experiment with the TT Redline 53 motor but had issues with heat and lack of oil lube.... I could have run richer, but power was way down... but still ok to hover and basic circuits...

Would have been ok for a beginner but I ended up damaging 2 conrods and putting a hole in the crankcase as a result of trying to get that little extra bit of power..

Since that video - I have simply started running the exact same setup on 80:20 (methanol:caster) and was running with probably a little more power than the most power I got out of the gas - however, running 20% caster meant no damaged conrods

I am now switching to 80:20 (caster:klotz) but have had issues with the align hex starter stripping on me... so can't report on how that's going yet... i'll eventually aim for something like 80% methanol, 15% klotz 5% caster.

The good thing about the spark is that you can run it leaner for a little extra power but it run rougher at idle and hotter. The lack of nitro means that the power is only ok for sport flying and probably equates the same power as the OS gt15hz motor in a t-rex700...

Nende pilbasteks lastud mootorite raha eest oleks vist mitmeks hooajaks jõunud CoolPowerit osta :D

Loe juttu edasi.

Eks ta paras katsetamine on - positiivne on see, et on ka alternatiive, kui ei vajata nii palju jõudu.

Bioetanool E85 segatuna 50/50 vabriku küttega(nitro %) kui ka 80/20 õliga.
On keegi tõristanud?

kui 53 mootorit saab kasutada vaid 15se jõuga, siis 46-61 lennukit see ju ei vea kuidagi...
